University Libraries has designed an exhibit to introduce students and faculty to the archival resources housed in its Special Collections and Archives (SC&A) unit.
Primary Source Research: An Introduction for Student Scholars is on display in Fenwick Library outside Room 204-C.
Since 1978, the University Libraries has collected rare books, Mason-related historical materials and historical manuscript collections. Mason is now the custodian of hundreds of unique collections and thousands of rare and antiquarian books. All of these resources are open for use by students, faculty and the public.
This exhibit educates students in primary source research techniques by showcasing materials from the libraries’ collections. The exhibit was researched, designed and mounted by Leah Richardson, SC&A research services coordinator, and Jason Byrd, history and political science liaison librarian.
