Darren Wheeler

Darren Wheeler provides the courses that currently underpin the National Defense Track of the Executive MBA program. In his residencies, students are exposed to acquisition of services and products within the Defense Department, rules and regulations governing government procurements and business best practices for the defense market.

Wheeler has spent more than a decade in defense acquisition working as both a combat developer writing requirements for military systems and in material development to ready military technologies for deployment within the Defense Department. He is a retired Marine combat veteran and currently works for Engility Corporation supporting a Defense Department client where he helps lead support efforts and provides technical subject matter expertise. He also actively supports business development functions such as strategy development, capture management, proposal management, and proposal development.
