Congratulations, Mason Graduates!
George Mason University invites you to celebrate your achievements at the Winter 2022 Commencement Ceremony on December 15, 2022.
Commencement is a university-wide ceremony with musical performance, inspiring speeches, pageantry, pomp and circumstance. At this ceremony, Doctoral candidates will be recognized by name, and they will cross the stage to receive their degree.
Undergraduate and Master's graduates will not be announced individually at Commencement but will be recognized in groups by major and program.
The December 14th and 15th Patriot Procession are opportunities for Undergraduate and Master's graduates to hear their names and degree announced, and be photographed crossing the stage to receive their degree.
Commencement ticket information, and Patriot Procession sign-up information will be available in early October.
The Patriot Procession is a unique informal experience for graduates to come to the EagleBank Arena with their guests, have their names called, cross the graduation stage, and be professionally photographed.

Get ready... Get Set... Graduate!
Before you take the stage to collect your diploma, there are few details that need your attention.
First -
Students must confirm their eligibility. Run your degree evaluation on Patriotweb, then complete and submit your graduation application by September 30th. Further information on this process is available on the Office of the University Registrar website.
Next -
Attend Winter Grad Fair to purchase graduation regalia. Caps, gowns, stoles, cords, announcements, diploma frames and more will be available at the Johnson Center event.
