George Mason University’s Student Support and Advocacy Center received for the first time a $75,000 grant from the Virginia Department of Health to strengthen its peer education program and prevention efforts in the area of sexual and interpersonal violence.

John Tilghman “Til” Hazel Jr., the visionary real estate lawyer and developer who recognized the impact George Mason University could have as the anchor of a region he principally transformed from pasture to prominence, died March 15. He was 91.

The George Mason University School of Business recently set up a unique admission partnership with the University of Virginia at Wise. The pathway offers students who graduate from UVA-Wise the ability to streamline their applications to the master’s in accounting, master’s in finance, and master’s in management (MSM).
