Annie Hunt is currently the Publications Coordinator for the College of Visual and Performing Arts at George Mason University where she has been part of the marketing team since January 2020.

The Hylton Performing Arts Center hosted a special two-day celebration with the 12th Anniversary Gala on April 29 and 30. The first Anniversary Gala held in-person since 2019, the event welcomed more than 1,000 guests and supported the Hylton Center’s mission of presenting diverse performances and programs of high quality and artistic excellence to inspire, educate, and enrich the community.

The American Festival Pops Orchestra (AFPO) performance at the Hylton Center on May 14th marks the end of Founding Maestro Anthony Maiello’s amazing run as its Music Director/Conductor after twelve glorious years on the podium, making music of the highest caliber and spreading his own deep love of this art form with players, singers, composers, arrangers, and, perhaps most vividly, with audiences.

On March 6, Friends of the Hylton Center’s Copper Circle enjoyed a wonderful appreciation dinner after the Velocity Irish Dance performance.

Bringing local communities together to celebrate and explore Latinx cultures Hylton Center Artist-in-Residence Ballet Hispánico participated in multiple days of in-person and virtual activities with Northern Virginia dancers leading up to their performance February 19.
